**Owen's Chameleon (*Trioceros oweni*)** Owen's Chameleon (*Trioceros oweni*) is a distinctive and rarely encountered three-horned chameleon native to the forests of Central Africa. It is particularly notable for the three slender horns developed by adult males and its highly arboreal lifestyle. **Common Names:** Owen's Chameleon, Owen's Three-horned Chameleon **Distribution:** Cameroon, Nigeria, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. **Habitat:** Lowland tropical forests, including dense evergreen and semi-deciduous forest. The species is generally associated with low elevations, commonly below approximately 800 meters. **Size:** A medium-sized chameleon, generally reaching around 25–28 cm in total length, with a long, prehensile tail. **Lifestyle:** Highly arboreal and primarily diurnal. Individuals spend much of their time in trees and dense vegetation, often high above the forest floor. **Appearance:** Adult males are characterized by three prominent slender horns. Females are generally hornless and have a more subdued appearance. The body is well adapted for life among branches and foliage, with a long prehensile tail and specialized feet for climbing. **Diet:** Insectivorous. A varied diet of appropriately sized feeder insects such as crickets, roaches, flies, moths, and other soft-bodied arthropods is recommended. **Origin:** Wild-Caught (WC), Cameroon. **Difficulty:** Advanced. This species is recommended for experienced chameleon keepers. A large, vertically oriented enclosure with excellent ventilation, dense foliage, climbing branches, and appropriate temperature and humidity gradients is essential. **Special Feature:** *Trioceros oweni* is one of the more rarely encountered chameleons in captivity and is particularly valued for its three-horned males, long tail, and highly arboreal lifestyle. **Locality Note:** Exact locality information is valuable for wild-caught specimens because *T. oweni* has a broad Central African distribution. Cameroon locality should be documented whenever available.
