**White-headed Dwarf Gecko (*Lygodactylus picturatus*)** The White-headed Dwarf Gecko (*Lygodactylus picturatus*) is a small and active diurnal gecko known for its attractive coloration, climbing ability, and distinctive sexual dimorphism. Adult males typically develop a bright yellow head contrasting with a bluish-gray body, while females are generally more subdued in coloration. **Distribution:** Widely distributed across parts of sub-Saharan Africa, with records from East, Central, and West Africa, including Cameroon. **Habitat:** Arboreal and highly adaptable. It can be found in savannas, woodland, coastal areas, shrubs, trees, and even human-modified habitats such as gardens, walls, and fences. **Size:** Approximately 7–8 cm (2.8–3.2 inches) in total length. **Diet:** Primarily insectivorous. Small crickets, fruit flies, wax moth larvae, and other appropriately sized feeder insects are suitable. Occasional fruit-based supplements may also be accepted. **Behavior:** Diurnal, active, and highly agile. Males can be territorial and should not be housed together. A male with one or more females can be kept in a suitably spacious enclosure. **Appearance:** Males typically display a striking yellow head with a blue-gray to gray body and contrasting markings. Females are generally brownish or muted in coloration. **Origin:** Wild-Caught (WC), Cameroon locality. **Difficulty:** Intermediate.
