**Goliath Frog (*Conraua goliath*)** The Goliath Frog is the largest living frog species in the world, renowned for its exceptional size and powerful build. Adult specimens can reach around 30–35 cm in body length and weigh several kilograms, making this species truly remarkable even among large African frogs. Native to southwestern Cameroon and mainland Equatorial Guinea, the Goliath Frog inhabits fast-flowing rivers and streams within tropical rainforest environments, generally at elevations below 1,000 meters. This species has a robust body, large head and mouth, strong hind limbs, and predominantly greenish coloration. Unlike many frogs, Goliath Frogs do not possess a vocal sac and are known for their relatively silent behavior. The Goliath Frog is highly aquatic and strongly associated with clean, well-oxygenated streams. Its diet consists mainly of insects, crustaceans, small amphibians, and other suitable prey. Due to habitat loss, hunting pressure, and collection for the international animal trade, *Conraua goliath* is considered a threatened species. Its restricted geographic range and conservation status make documented legal origin and appropriate export documentation particularly important when dealing with captive or imported specimens. **Scientific Name:** *Conraua goliath* **Common Name:** Goliath Frog **Family:** Conrauidae **Origin:** Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea **Habitat:** Tropical rainforest rivers and fast-flowing streams **Adult Size:** Up to approximately 30–35 cm body length **Diet:** Insects, crustaceans, small amphibians and other prey
